Αthens Chic House

The building that houses the Athens Chic House dates back to the 60s. Although it has remained closed lately, its uses have varied over the years. It originally housed the family of a well-known Greek journalist, Stelios Anemodouras, who was the publisher and author of the historical reading and magazine "The Little Hero". This magazine sealed a great period of Greek history in the difficult years that followed the adventures of war, occupation and civil conflict. The publisher was honored for his contribution to shaping the personality and culture of young readers, and was awarded by the Municipality of Athens shortly before the end of his life. He passed away in 2000 and a little later the building was transformed into apartments and business premises.

In 2019 it passed into our ownership and we renovated it radically, doing everything possible so as not to alter its original character. From a large two-storey urban house, it was transformed into a single building, which retains the original construction philosophy, harmonized with the modern needs of hospitable accommodation. It consists of 6 autonomous apartments capable of accommodating from two to five people each, in such a way as to aesthetically unite the past with the present.

With passion in what we do, we envision a hospitality with values ​​for our guests. We want to offer you not only a simple stay, but a sense of familiarity, so that you have the opportunity to focus on the important, which in this case is the joy of travel. We focus on your individual needs, maximum comfort, Greek culture and environmental protection and we invest in it with all our care. Our goal is to stay in your hearts and contribute to your positive and genuine experience from your stay in Athens.

At Athens Chic House we are a family. We the owners, Maria and Themis but also our two sons, after numerous trips around the world, we loved tourism with each of our cells. We met new people from all over the world, gained close ties with professionals in the field, hosted people and were hosted by others and gathered a variety of travel experiences. Until finally in 2021 we managed to fulfill our big dream and create an urban hostel, where with passion and love we will try to contribute to the tourism of our blessed place and to reciprocate the hospitality of all professionals in the industry who have taken care of us all these years. .
